im so upset about literally every media platform ever having some form of age verification.
first of all, not your job to keep kids off the site. in my honest opinion that is a risk you run when giving your kids an ipad.
second of all, and most importantly, ITS A HUGE SECURITY RISK????? HELLO?????
peoples faces, ids, and papers are in those databases and if they happen to get hacked WE'RE (almost) ALL SCREWED!!!!!
i like that these sites/platforms actually care to make you verify your age to keep kids safe but i dont understand why the internet has to be baby proofed because people let their literal todlers onto the internet
have you considered not giving your kids ipads? yes its more challenging but pls vro it would fix a lot of problems
this is my first blog entry!
as of late, ive been learning how to code!!!!!! which i think is really cool. you, dear reader, are likely to know a thing or two about it, since this is a neocities site, and a lot of people on here make their own cool websites
honestly, i find html and css pretty easy, it's just formatting thats hard. When i was coding my index page, it took me a week. most of that time was spent formatting! or... trying, at least. one of the things i learned from coding that page is that if im stuck on a formating issue, maybe another div tag might help!
on the topic, i hate div tags so much, as useful as they are. THERES SO MANY OF THEM OH MY GOD. multiple containers and items really add up... i have a love hate relationship with div tags.
but annyywayssss this is the 2nd out of idk-how-many-and-im-not-checking sites!!!!!!!1!! very scuffed but yk we ball >:D
edit: haha i did it again. while adding footnotes to my index i added another div. i love divs. i hate divs.
